Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, The Orpheus Theatre Company strives to bring new and challenging work to the stage. We are not interested in the boundaries of the canon and the “what has been done before.”

Along with new works, we hope to revitalize long known classics with modern (if not post-modern) perspective. The Orpheus Theatre Company is bolstered by the perspectives and innovations of its affiliate artists. We are thrilled to bring this company to such a wonderful theatre community.

Orpheus Journeyed to Hades to sing for the return of his love, Eurydice. He moved Hades himself to tears. As Orpheus was moved for her, so too, are we for our audiences. We seek to take you on an emotional journey - journeys of laughter and tears - to Hades and back.
