About The Show:
When struggling writer Cheryl Strayed is asked to take over the unpaid, anonymous position of advice columnist, she used empathy and her personal experiences to help those seeking guidance for obstacles both large and small.
Her book – and this play -- is a collection of essays compiled from Strayed’s “Dear Sugar” advice column, which she wrote anonymously, on The Rumpus, an online literary magazine.
Tiny Beautiful Things is about the endangered art of listening to -- and really hearing and responding to -- other people.
CONTENT WARNING: Tiny Beautiful Things contains explicit language and subject matter intended for mature audiences, including: discussions of sexual assault, child abuse, death/suicide, and drug use. This show is not recommended for children younger than 17. Audience discretion is advised.
