Set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba as we follow Nathan Detroit and his friend Sky Masterson and their pursuit of the biggest dice game in town.
Gilbert and Sullivan’s most famous and successful work reimagined as The Mikado, Eh! tells the story of Bertie-Lou, the disguised son of the Canadian Mikado, who returns to Saskatoon to reunite with his love Autumn. To his disappointment, he learns that Autumn is engaged to be married to her guardian Coco, the recently elected Lord High Executioner. Bertie-Lou and Coco come to an agreement that seems beneficial for all, but those plans may fall through when Agatha, a high ranking member of court, shows up to claim Bertie-Lou for herself.
Saskatoon is then put in a complete frenzy when the Canadian Mikado arrives looking for his son. With songs like Three Little Maids from School, I’ve Got a Little List, The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring, and Tit-Willow, it’s no wonder this became Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular and beloved show!
A young bride sends a mail order for Scandinavian glassware — and instead, she mistakenly receives tons of Scandinavian pornography. As the couple struggles to hide the continuing influx of unmentionables, complications arise with the arrival of a mother-in-law, a boss and even the police. This rollicking farce will keep you in stitches until the final door slams.
It seems that no one can teach the spoiled princess how to behave a little nicer. Then one day when she is playing with her ball down by the pond, she meets a mysterious frog – a mysterious, talking frog! Can he succeed where mere mortals fail?
